Idyllic Tuscan Retreat
Loved everything about this wine resort except maybe the restaurant. The setting and grounds are truly magical and beautifully maintained. The hotel service is very friendly and professional. The two pools in different locations help to keep it from feeling crowded. There are lots of beautiful spots to sit and gaze over the wooded hills. The rooms and suites are very comfortable and neat, with a tasteful Tuscan decor. This was such a great find, we can’t wait to go back. The only thing less than perfect was the restaurant. It tried to be fine dining, but it would have been nicer to have simpler Tuscan dishes with good quality and more variety, as the fine dining dishes missed the mark a bit. September was a great time to be there, warm but not too hot and lovely evenings where you could still sit outside.
