Catignano Chianti Classico
From a calcareous soil on the geological formation of Monte Morello, our Catignano was born. A vineyard located on a plateau always illuminated by the sun and with strong temperature variations between day and night, characteristics that give life to a wine with a complex aromatic profile and a rich and juicy sip.
Tasting notes
Color
Intense ruby red with subtle garnet highlights.
Smell
Nose characterized by red fruits, the perfume opens on notes of blackberry and currant, then continues to present a tertiary complexity made of leather tobacco, graphite and licorice.
Taste
Warm and juicy on the palate where the notes of ripe red fruit are found.

Soil composition
Calcareous soils with abundant fossil remains mainly Alberase ctone.
