Casanova Chianti Classico
The Casanova vineyard is the one located closest to the historic Villa di Dievole. From 2.5 hectares of vineyard, on Macigno del Chianti, with soils rich in sandstone, our most drinkable Chianti Classico cru is born. A wine reminiscent of the Chianti tradition, a Sangiovese characterized by great freshness and elegance.
Tasting notes
Color
At sight it has a very bright ruby red colour.
Smell
The classic aromas of the vine emerge on the nose, with notes of small red fruit such as cherries and morello cherries,
alternating with spicy hints.
Taste
The mouth is smooth and medium-bodied supported by a dense tannic texture with a savoury and velvety finish.
